I think David, you will find this particularly depressing when seen alongside the current discussion on the Yahoo Trolleybus group of a project aiming to give the trolleybus a new life in the emerging battery-electric transit scene, sweeping aside the limitations of the present static charging technology. It also won't use fuel like the Wrightbus trying to do the same thing but which we've yet to see.

The other depressing thing is to see how hard European operators like DPP are currently striving to ultimately electrify their entire bus fleets, while here in the South Pacific we keep sliding backwards to diesel.
