Recently I noticed work going on opposite the GC entertainment centre adjacent to the Broadbeach North tram stop.

It has now been going for a couple of months and achieved about as much as a couple of weekend handymen could build in a few weekends.

Earlier I saw about 5 trucks and vans with at least as many workers just to replace the concrete base of a street lamp not too far from my place.

This set me wondering if contractors intentionally stretch out council and government jobs to maintain income stream. And presumably they are all into it, contractors and all levels of government.

Has anyone else noticed similar? It seems the Terrorgraph has, and did not single out the tram project.
