Hi Graham, It is 900mm gauge and runs/ran on the German island of Oland.
There is no road to the island, only access is via the railway that runs
along the top of the 'dam' connecting it to the mainland. It is really a
sort of glorified section car powered by petrol engine with rope
starter. Traditionally they used sail power!
