Pretty well all electrical machines have a '1hr' rating. Often you will
see a motor with a table, listing continuous, 1hr, 15min and 5 minute
ratings.

Railway locomotives often have their motor amp meters marked with
different colours indicating the continuous, 1hr, 15min and 5 minute
allowable currents.

So you can take the amps into the 5 minute region to get moving, but
have to back it off over time to avoid motor overheating.
