That's often the case due to tram driver alertness and savage magnetic track brakes - but of course that only stops the tram, not the passsengers.
Motorists see trams as slow and obliging - until they get hit by one.

I think that changing that perception is the aim of the 'Rhino on a skateboard' campaign.

Mal Rowe - who does not agree with Tony P's (apparent) view that running down a few pedestrians and motorists Czech style would teach them to behave better.
