A drive along the Smith St Motorway from Napper Rd to the hospital and back this afternoon revealed that all the overhead appears to be in place (but there is a small safety gap in the tunnel, and the siding is still to be done) and the overhead crew was doing finishing work in one place. At least some of the tensioning weights are yet to be connected.

Also it was noted that there is a crossover immediately east of the Parkwood tram stop which would be approximately half way along the 7km extension.

The junction for that hospital storage siding which turns north just before the line crosses Olsen Ave seems to have workmen still in attendance.
