I could say not unusual.
I've probably recounted this before, but the driver in front had dewired on the Park and Clarendon St H crossing, ripping the pole, base, and trolley plank from the roof of his W.
I helped him drag the wreckage into the gutter outside a bank, then we turned the front pole and he was away again, me with his passengers.
Yarra would probably sack you today for 'keeping the service running' 'without permission'!!
