Hi Charles,

Sorry to spoil your Australia Day, but I think 964 is finished.

Here's how it looked at Preston at the beginning of January:

It has had the pantograph and ticket machine stripped ... and the trucks
are obviously interchangeable.

There are still enough spare Ws that it may be more economical to just
get another out of storage and upgrade it rather than fix a car in the
condition you described.
