As a follow up to this post, I’ve been pleasantly surprised to discover that Milwaukee Electric #1111 is still with us, preserved at Illinois Railway Museum at Union :

Pacific Electric #1111 ended up on the General Urquiza Railway in Buenos Aires, and was scrapped there, but 2 out of three surviving is pretty good.
