I walked from East Brunswick to the city yesterday afternoon - driven on
by the attraction of a good chat at Coopers Inn with TDU members and others.
Along the way, I took a series of pics - mostly umremarkable.
However, I rather liked one and hope you do.
Lygon St was spared the 'rattle of the tramcars' until the Melbourne,
Brunswick & Coburg Tramways Trust used it to sneek past the dominant
cable tram network and reach the boundary of the central city in 1916.
