The site is completely sealed off and the closest I could get was a shot across Normanby Rd showing a pile of rail and points waiting to go for scrap;

The points at both ends of the depot are being replaced as far as I can see, and there is also an upgrade to a platfom stop between the depot and the junction.

With the depot isolated, trams are being stored on the light rail track just south of Middle Park - where there is a crossover.

It looks like they are storing As on the inbound track and Es on the outbound track.
