Lets get this straight. The TMSV was approached by a Office Bearer of the 568 group back in April/may 2016 regarding the possibility of moving those trams to Bylands. The TMSV Board were welcoming to a proposal, which would secure the cars from further vandalism. It was stated at the time by the TMSV Board, that no tram would come to Bylands until there was agreemement on the terms and conditions, and a subsequent signed agreement was in place, and the area for storage was prepared and track laid (by or at the expense of the group concerned - not TMSV). The TMSV has offerred at no charge rail infrastructure for use, but expect the "group either undertake the work or contract it out. All this has been communicated to the 568 group. To date we have had little or no contact from the 568 group to either discuss the terms and conditions of a lease, nor make an effort to prepare the site selected. A nominal rental figure has been decided by TMSV, this met with silence from an Officer of the group. Subsequently the Official from the 568 group we were dealing with has resigned, and there has been no contact from the new incumbents. So at this stage the matter rests.
