I never realised what a beautiful ride it must’ve been back then. Down Batman Ave thence along Swan St, pre Swan St bridge (I thought it might’ve been there by then), past all the parklands before hitting suburbia. Oh if only we could go back in time. Where’s my DeLorean

You can also see work going on to move the scissors crossover further down Batman Ave to allow two cars to terminate on each track.

The date (post 1937) is based on the very new looking Southern stand at the MCG.
