Does anyone have photos (or a memory) of the track layout at the kerb before the loop was ripped out, i.e. was there still the two tracks and the facing crossover as in the real estate leaflet, or had it been simplified? I have no photos from that time (only of the loop itself) and cannot recall the rest of the track layout however hard I cogitate, except a (very unreliable) feeling that it wasn't that complicated. The sketch map that I posted (which I drew some years ago) may have been an amalgam of what I had photographically (the post-loop stub terminus plus the loop, plus the other tracks in the Esplanade) rather than reality. I'd be interested to see if there is anything more?
