I'm with Greg on this one, for capacity reasons, although I guess it's tempered by the ability to turn trams at South Terrace and most of the patronage is north of that. Could say the same thing about IWLR though and look how well that works - not. Always best to have double track as a minimum.

Wasn't it a double track terminus at Glenelg originally? I have vague memories of that and it was a bit closer to the sea (?).

They have carefully removed the old shelter and will be building a new one.
If there was to be a second track, the demolition and excavation would be much more dramatic.
