In theory only over a few metres.

However I'm getting data from my solar inverter via 'bluetooth' and the
here is 15m and 3 brick walls between the computer collecting the data
and the inverter on the outside wall.

The problem with wireless mice (and any other wireless devices) are the
#@%@$$ batteries.
