Hello,

Yesterday Monday 24 April 2017 was my time to get my last photographs of
route 8 and the to be modified 6 in Swanston St.

After lunch at home I was reading my messages to discover that the Burke
and Wills statue had been removed. I was very surprised to read this as I
had stood in the shadow of the plinth that very morning and did not notice
that the statue was gone.

However, I did fluke a shot of the statue-less plinth and the attached
shows same but I wonder what the framework is on the top for.
