Re: Parts of Powerhouse Museum may stay in CBD | Gold Coast Bulletin OT

MAAS already has two sites, but one is not generally accessible to the
public.

There is scope to have a new facility at Parramatta with this overflow
collection alone. But the Goverment is continually cutting back
funding for the Powerhouse operation, so I doubt it would really want
to fund two full facilities, or even two partial displays.

It sounds like the worst option - 2 sites miles apart to see it all.

I was there last year and from memory the old trains were on the
first floor (up). It must have been a job getting them up there and a
headache if they want to take them away.
