I top up my Wellington Snapper card from my home PC. I can top up anyone's card from my PC, not just my own. And I'm sure I could do it from my phone too, could I be bothered.

I'm sure I topped up my Melbourne Myki from home when I was living there. I remember topping up whatever the Brisbane card I was loaned by a friend (during a holiday house swap) by paying the bus driver, and at some kiosk in Queen St.
