The tram replacement services had at least the same number of short workings.

Bus services on the Watson Bay services have been severely cut back since then, especially with the "Better Buses East" program which cut Watsons Bay services by in excess of 30%!

The public outcry from this 'enhancement' lead to the abandonment of the "Better Buses" Program across Sydney but the Watsons Bay services were not improved until 1 hour plus waiting times for peak hour passengers forced recent improvements (still not up to the pre "Better Buses" level).
