5 - Alison Rd near Darley Rd, looking back toward Kensington Jct. The massive concrete foundation for track opposite the racecourse. Depending on how much more concrete they add here the track appears to be around a metre lower than the former tramway embankment, about the same elevation as the former “Dive platform” that was once in this area.

6 - The view from the Darley Rd site entrance gate. It’s hard to tell for sure, but the truck appears to be standing on a remnant ofthe old tramway embankment.

7 - The southernmost Centennial Park pond, and tramway era concrete drains adjacent to the worksite. The old tramway embankment acted as a dyke to control floodwater from these ponds.

8 - The alignment along the southern side of Alison Rd, looking west from Wansey Rd. I don’t know if the new concrete building is for the racecourse or the tramway. It’s a lot more substantial than the substation buildings on the IWLR if that’s what it is, the IWLR substations are demountable buildings on stilts.
