Actually you're right about Morgan for sure. Old Nikola is a bit of a pet subjec t(and hero) of mine considering what an amazing mind he had. Yes, I think everybody had a piece of him in his career because of his altruistic attitude. When industrialists and banksters hear things like "I just want these to be free and benefit all mankind" they pounce and pounce they did on poor old Mr T.
I think Nikola sealed his fate when he visited Washington in 1905 with one of his "boxes", stuck two electrodes in the ground and said "ok how much free electricity would you like"??? The rest was just downhill from there.
But to keep it tram related...
Imagine a Tramway system free of wires and no coal burning power supply? Each car individually wirelessly linked to a central tower like the one Tesla built at Wardencliyffe. Ah what a totally different world we'd have...all free, endless and non polluting.

compared to J P Morgan George Westinghouse was pretty fair
to Tesla - Morgan was the one who pulled funding on Tesla
when he became alarmed that Tesla wanted to supply “free
wireless electricity” to the world (free electricity -
