I'm sure Tony will be pleased to hear that a recent innovation in
Melbourne is in line with his advice!

The tram stop in Queensbridge St, just south of the bridge, has recently
been upgraded to a platform stop.

This is one of the few locations in Melbourne where trams and buses
share a stop - and that's still the case with the new platform stop.

During the brief period I watched, the tram certainly aligned better
with the platform.
