You have still lost sight of the fact that the demographics of St Kilda and
Port Melbourne have truend 180 degrees since the late 1980s when the
railway was deemed to be not performing. If the trains had remianed I think
you will find that they too would be heavily used. Please do not think that
the trams have caused the rebirth of public transport use in those areas.
