26th January 1974 was the day of the special Dog Box run.After all these
years,I still find that the seats in the "Dogbox" cars were more comfortable
than seats in today's E.M.U.s.
Finally,I have photos of original Harris Trains running on the Port Melb &
St Kilda lines,& the diesel hauled ballast trains which ran during the
conversion process & the L electrics.
I would like to put them on the group,but if I do,I will be greeted by howls
from the "same gang"who continually object to any railway photos.This "same
gang' never contribute any photos to this group.
