No My turn to say "couldn't have put it better myself" I just love Manual lap brakes, when driven properly they can be just as effective as self lappers, the self lapper just takes some of the judgement out. My favorite cars to drive were the H's (still the high point of my tram driving career when I was a Motorman there) and the Milan Peter Witt, it has a lovely responsive valve, hopefully one day you'll get to run it and love it.
