Peter,

In the good old days when the lake was full and we had balmy March long
weekends weatherwise, I remember I had just got my driver's ticket so it
would have been March 1975, a Mini Minor had parked across the tracks thus
delaying the service.

Fortunately there were a couple of non traffic staff on the tram ( Peter
Rees was one) so between the 4 of us, we bounced it sideways so it was
wedged between 2 legally parked cars, therefore the driver would have wait
for one of those cars to depart. Can't remember the end result but we
thought it quite humorous at the time.

Best Regards

Noel

P S. bad luck about Morton and Jurrah, I cringe when I hear of quality
players being injured in meaningless pre season matches. David Schwarz was
one who I think did his knee twice in pre season games.

G'day all, three more photos from Ballaarat on Monday.

Bill Kingsley rolls into the Gardens Loop with 671. Bill has been a motorman
at Ballaarat since the earliest days, nearly 40 years ago. 661 is waiting at
the loop for the cross.

466 will be leaving Ballaarat to return to Bendigo very soon but for a short
time on Monday it was part of an all Melbourne service with 671 and 661.
